JPM, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse - easy to work in branches other than New York?

My school's careers website that the firms use to recruit only lists New York offices for the banks in the title while other banks have options to choose offices in other locations. My question is, if I get an SA position through my school's recruitment at one of the above mentioned banks, would it be possible to ask for a FT offer for another branch?

I don't really mind New York, but there are definitely other big cities I'd rather live in (SF, LA, Menlo Park).
