JPM vs. MS, London Summer Associate
Any thoughts on which is the better opportunity? Would be joining MS associate M&A pool vs. JPM coverage team.

MS M&A.
Though if you want to factor in culture, it can be either or - depending on your fit/personality.
MS
MS London is firing people, JPM London is not.
Irrelevant. In 6 months it may well be the other way around.
The act in itself is irrelevant, the underlying reason is not. JPM is doing much better than MS in EMEA.

London office IB internship. Which to go for? Or is there negligable difference? Also, in terms: 1) Converting to a full-time position 2) Experience of future FT applications 3) Experience as a potential graduate analyst, which would be a better place to be in?
Thanks.
Where did you like the people more? What teams for each?
People were friendly at both, although I think this can depend more on the teams rather than the bank. Will be allocated team only one/two months before starting.
Would you all say the difference is insignificant?
Well, do you remember what teams the people were from whom you interviewed with? That is important, as usually, when you want the FT offer, you usually join the team where you liked the people the most. A good indication is who gives you a call to make you an offer, ie if a guy from the TMT team calls you might want to join that team as they apparently took a liking to you. Besides that, I would say that it doesn't really matter, you can probably flip a coin and it will be the same thing. I've heard good and bad about both, but from what I heard, JPM comes out a littlebit on top tbh.
Anyone else care to input? Thanks
Also guys, out of interest which teams at these banks would be recommended for good exposure, value for future opportunities and experience? Of course I have personal preferences, but just in general.
