Junior That Still Hasn't Found Anything for the Summer, Starting to Get Discouraged

Hi,

So I am a junior right now at a non-target far, far away from any reasonable financial hub with a 3.7 GPA and I have had absolutely 0 luck in getting anywhere near an IB position. I've emailed/called every single boutique in my very small city and even a fair amount outside of my city, none of which wanted to take me up or even responded to my emails/voicemails (the no response happened on all but 2 of the 25 that I emailed). I obviously applied online to all the BBs, but probably won't get in/haven't gotten in, and I've had almost no luck in terms of contacting the few alumni from my school that made it into banking. The worst part is that my relatives all live in another country, and they too have been unable to help me get something in i-banking from the 1 or 2 connections they thought they had. Plus, the one interview I got for a F500 gig that I thought I nailed didn't end up working out, so I just feel like complete shit at the moment.

Worst case scenario, I might have to take summer classes this summer, but does anyone know what to do at this point? Honestly, I'm worried about working as a barista at SBUX for the rest of my life because I can't get a single job. I know that ECs are the weakest part of my app (I unforuntately haven't been able to score any leadership spots, and I had to leave off most of my club stuff because it literally added nothing), so I dunno. My end goal is to get into corporate dev, but fuck. What advice would you give me at this point?

When I feel like complete shit, I stop feeling like complete shit and be awesome instead.

True story.

What is your major? Do you mind posting up your current resume?

Dude, I feel for you man. Since all your relatives live in another country (and might have solid connections), have you thought about doing an internship there?

Lol the funny part is that I did an internship there last year and actually want to work in that country upon graduation. They just haven't been able to pull any strings for me somehow this time around. Feels bad man.

As for my resume, I'm very hesitant to do so publically. These kids I know have already found me once forcing me to change my username and I want to avoid them finding me again, which they will if I post my resume.

Just give a basic description of your resume then. Major, GPA. What clubs/leadership ex (without naming), approximate US News rank of your school (give a range) and what industry your prior internship was in and what the position was.

Finance, 3.72 or so; not really in clubs but I had one position where I was the event coordinator and had to manage the finances, set the budget, etc. for a club last year (this is I think my biggest fault, but I tried and didn't end up getting voted into leadership spots...I do have some stuff from high school if that matters at all); US News = below 100 nationally, T30 in "business" and I had an internship at a fairly well known multinational company in another country (not a BB/tech company unfortunately) where I was doing due diligence. That's about as vague as I can be without revealing who I am (even then I bet people who know me IRL can guess who I am, but let's just hope they don't read this).

Why are afraid of people finding out who you are? Is it embarrassing?

Lol, not necessarily embarrassing, but it's just that if my friends can ID me on this site, potential employers/others who have access to my resume can ID me as well. If I accidentally post something politically incorrect/go on an embarrassing rant because I'm having a bad day then both my friends and potential employers may view me in an unfavorable light, which I really want to avoid because how I behave online isn't 100% correlated to how I act in real life. That's why I really want to remain as anonymous as possible.

But seriously, can anyone help me out? I'm really running out of ideas here.
