Just broke my arm... interviews within the next month

I just broke my arm (my non-dominant arm, thankfully) and I'm applying for internships in the next week or so. As far as what I should wear goes, I am clueless now. I can only fit into my largest t-shirts because of the size of my brace (I broke my upper arm so my shoulder and elbow are completely immobilized). I just bought a new suit too—not convenient timing to say the least.

I'm hopeful my interviewers will understand but does anyone have any advice that might help? Should I notify them beforehand about my situation just as a heads up? Would it even be worth it to have a bespoke shirt made?

Luckily I should recover before I plan to actually begin my internship, but I'm just going to miss that little confidence boost looking sharp gives me at interviews. Maybe it'll be an ice-breaker—I mean I'll stand out I guess ("the broken arm guy").

Any and all advice is appreciated.

Pretend nothing happened and kick ass as usual. Having a broken arm is an amplifier: if you do well, it'll pay off; otherwise, you'll just be "the broken arm guy."

Can you wear a short-sleeve dress shirt? If you can fit into your suit with a short-sleeve dress shirt, you can still look professional.

I think they will understand and will give you a break for it.

Wall Street leaders now understand that they made a mistake, one born of their innocent and trusting nature. They trusted ordinary Americans to behave more responsibly than they themselves ever would, and these ordinary Americans betrayed their trust.
