Just realized my ex works across the street

Ok so I went to the mall today looking for shoes, and then I see that my ex’s office is there. And I was like oh shit. He’s across the street from me. I’m completely over him; but I can’t help feeling very weird about this. To make matters worst, his coworker asked me out, and I’m starting to feel bad - though I guess I shouldn’t bc I think it’s clear so far it’s just friendship. Anyways- how do I not feel awkward with an ex being across the street? I a piece of me hates my life right now

Fuck man I feel like a god damn boomer seeing all these high school topics here
