Just starting my job/passed my series 7. What do I read/watch to keep up with news?
So, long of the short, I passed both my license exams (the one big one being the Series 7). I start training soon and basically will just be taking incoming calls and helping people with there accounts and basic things when I actually start my job (so, not exactly a broker).
However, one major thing I know I should do is keep current with the markets. However, I really don't want to be sitting all day reading the Wall Street Journal. I'm sure it has great information in it, but its long and much of it is probably not relevant.
Is there any simple podcasts/videos (I get WSJ through job, so maybe they have a good video series)/etc. that would have a short and simple way to keep up with the news of the day? AKA, maybe a short 30 minute video or podcast?
This is my first real job out of college and I am really interested in learning about the martkets. However, I don't want to be spending all day reading a bunch of useless articles.
Thanks for any help with this.
