Stumbled across this chart and found it to be fascinating. The person working as a teller for WF wishes they were in IBD at WF and the IB guy at WF wishes they were at GS and GS guy wishes they were at a MF and it’s so easy to get caught up in comparing yourself to others that you can get completely detached from the real world. Moscow is as developed as most Western cities. Maybe a little less suburban but that's it. It's the rest of Russia that's impoverished.
