Keeping 2 Job Offers Instead of Dropping 1
Hi Monkies.
In this coronavirus environment, there's a lot of uncertainty with job security. As an upcoming grad, I was fortunate to land two job offers before shit hit the fan.
The lesser of my job offers had its start date pushed back and I now have the opportunity to decline this new arrangement instead of reneging (which I originally planned to do).
I want to do the right thing and be transparent with them, but I don't know how much worse the economy will get. It would be wise to have a safety plan in case my better offer gets rescinded (due to covid), but it would also be wise to keep my professional integrity (now that I have the chance to make things right).
Any thoughts?
