KYC student job

Hey everybody!

So I'm a first-year undergrad at a target uni in the UK and an opportunity has come up recently. I am aiming for HF and PE roles after graduation(IB too besides that, but would only use it for getting into the former 2) and doing alright so far with competition and societies, however, I am a bit short on money so I've searched for a place to work for. In my home country(Europe) I could have the opportunity to get a job at Deutsche Bank as a KYC Data analyst. I am aware that KYC is a back-office role but they pay quite well and would like to see DB on my cv, maybe it would help me later on. It would definitely take up a lot of my time, but I'm doing great at uni and would prob end the first year with a 1st so it wouldn't be that bad for my grades. I am only worried about its reputation, would it be worth it to work for them to make some money(came from a lower-middle-class family so each pound counts) but neglect my social life, further studies(like outside school stuff), and maybe networking(couldn't really do it due to covid so this one wouldn't be that terrible)?

I would really appreciate some advice! Maybe someone who worked in a similar role or is recruiting for IB, HF, PE and how would he look at a kid who worked full time and managed to get great grades, even though it was a pretty mundane job.

Thanks!
