Please provide your feedback on my updated resume, as i was just laid off due to the budget cuts.
I am aiming toward Asst management. I have passed my first level of the CFA and would appreciate any advise and/or critique.

thanks,

Sorry to hear that bud, but Outlook isn't a skill and your dates seem to be floating randomly.

I don't see any contact info on there, not sure if you left it off just keep anon.

Not a fan of Microsoft Office as a skill- if you are really good with Excel or Access then I can see including it but otherwise I think it should be assumed. Also, I would get rid of the strong written and oral communications skills since they are completely subjective.

Since you only graduated in 2010 I think you can include a bit more info about your educational background (EC's, GPA if it isn't terrible, academic honors, etc.)

Is the Pamir Accounting a part time thing?

Get rid of the comma after Ogilvy and Mather.

Good luck.

Jeffmonts- arranged chronlogically.

Duffmt6- I intentionally took my info. I have solid excel and access skills ( took Wall street training classes for excel & valuation). Also, took out verbal and written communication skill bullet. For educational info i did not find much space. Pamir Acc is a part-time job on the weekends.

t-banker- Fixed the font of "tec & comm skills".

What do you guys think about adding CFA level 2 candidate? Would that add any value? Also, what about the content of Analyst position?

You should definitely have CFA on there. Can't believe I didn't notice that. At the very least it shows you have analytical abilities.

Another person opining on the CFA without having sat the exams.

But yes, put it on. Go on the CFA website, it'll tell you how to correctly state your involvement.

Thank you all for providing me such a wonderful feedback, special thanks to Duffmt6.

As far as CFA L1 is concerned, i think it indicated your dedication and working hard. It also def enhances your analytical skills. I just graduated with a degree in finance, I didn't learned that much in any of the finance classes that i learned just by studying financial reporting & FI.
