Large hedge funds with few employees
Hello, I was looking at a hedge fund recently with fewer than 10 employees. It manages over 600m. It has grown a lot recently. So they may have some hiring. Are there examples of other large hedge funds with few people. What mostly contributes to the employee size? Is it certain strat or funds that are less multi manager style, where there are more funds in one? It would make sense if mid size algo funds dont have a high number of employees relatively.
Hi joseclar1, any of these topics helpful:

Than you for the links. I was looking more for a list and a discussion about the biggest employee size factor in extremely high aum to employee funds. I didnt read all the links, though, I dont see, still definitely some interesting info, that.
$600M would not be considered a large hedge fund. 10 people for a $600M hedge fund is probably the high end of appropriate staffing. A hedge fund of that size could be run with 3-5 people.
