Lazard Middle Market - NYC

I realize this topic has been touched on before, but usually, the conversation focuses on non-NYC cities, e.g. Minneapolis.

I'd like to specifically ask if anyone knows about general reputation and exit ops from the Lazard Middle Market NYC office.

When doing a cursory LinkedIn search, I find almost no professionals in PE, particularly in NYC. That being said, I know of someone who was at their Chicago office and listed "Lazard" - without the Middle Market - on his resume and LinkedIn and went to a very solid upper-MM shop from there, one that you all would recognize.

I realize he might be an anomaly, but it got me wondering if others who work in Lazard Middle Market just list Lazard, including for buyside recruiting.

Any light shed on this is much appreciated.
