IB prospects in London after Msc from ESSEC?
Hey everyone!
I'm applying to ESSEC for their Msc. Finance program and I was wondering how the IB recruitment after studying at ESSEC is? (after brexit)
(I'm not a EU citizen)

Rules of the game at the SA/analyst level:
In nearly all cases, banks prefer to hire locals because there's no point in sponsoring someone when they can find people with the same skills and experience in their own country.
Would I be able to find any other finance jobs in EU/London if I'm a non EU citizen?
Starting from 2021 London market will be easier for Non-European students. And thats not true, many asian people working here coming from French / UK universities
I didnt get you?
I assume he is referring to the ending of free movement between the EU and Britain. This means that EU and non-EU both need to be sponsored which levels the playing field for the non-EU students.
Thought this needed not explanation as it was something "known" about Brexit.
In summary, there will be a clear criteria to be met in order to get those visas por EU / Non EU citizens, which should be easy to meet as Investment Bankers
Yeah but thanks to BoJo students graduating from a British university will get a 2-year work visa no questions asked
Brexit will make it easier to hire non european students.
Currently there are many asian people who studied in UK / French universities who are working at banks so its doable (even if it could seem harder).
