Leaving Big 4 for Insurance Finance Rotation
Hi all,
I'm currently at a Big 4 (PwC, Deloitte) and shockingly hate it. I've recently been offered a opportunity to join a Finance rotation at a large insurance company (sub of a F500). I've heard the insurance industry is not one that is good but I'd like to get into a finance rotation.
To be honest I'm currently making a lot of moves to break into startups and that's what is my number one goal in life but if I don't choose that career path for whatever reason down the road I'd like to have myself setup for a finance gig.
So is the insurance industry a place I should stay away from, even if it leads to FP&A?
