Leaving IBD - Compensation Negotiation
Hey guys, I'm a junior associate in TMT coverage, expecting to make around mid $200s this year. Recently got a strategy offer in a start up, and team wants to enter salary/comp negotiations. They offered around 180, but was wondering how much leeway I could take here and best approach to do so.
Any specific advice? Thanks
Any equity? If it's an early stage start up push for some.
