Legitimate Placements from MSRE(D)

I know this is difficult to answer but I frequent this forum and see the constant hate (despite a small subset of users who seem the most reasonable) of MSRE(D) programs.  Every time I read a thread where they are asking for overall advice about breaking into a real estate investment career dare I say it, a top REPE shop the debates spiral out of control turning into the bashing all MSRE(D) or specific programs.  I thought it may be helpful for people to list actual jobs they got or have seen first hand after MSRE(D).  I understand MSRE(D) alone may not "launch" you into the world of REPE so maybe include your work experience prior to enrollment.  While using LinkedIn search I find useful, it is difficult when say coming from NYU people sometimes just put "Masters from NYU-2018" instead of Masters of NYU SPS etc.

People hate MREDs on this forum? I step back for a bit and look what happens.

Anyhow, I attended a MRED program. I interned with a NMHC Top 25 (https://www.nmhc.org/research-insight/the-nmhc-50/top-50-lists/2020-top-developers-list/) apartment developer (alongside interns from other MRED programs as well as MBA programs such as Wharton) and then got a job as a development associate with a local shop upon graduation. Within a year, I was promoted to Development Manager.

Multi has obviously been very hot the last decade, so I have classmates at 9 of those 25 firms.

I think people need to be aware that a MRED is not a cure all or instant ticket to success, but it is a terrific way to learn enough of the business to be dangerous, brand yourself, and dramatically build your network.

Okay, first full disclosure, I don't have an MSRE or MSRED, but have zero Ivy degrees either, but I am going to list from memory/search of my LinkedIn contacts where I know people went to work post MSRE/D, can I promise it was first job, no, but I'm sure on many... (oh, a note on NYU and probably others, Schack is only place that issues MSREs, if they say NYU MSRE, they mean Schack, and that is pretty much true at all universities, only one school can give each specific degree type). And if someone has an MBA, they say so (full disclosure, I'm one of them)

Anyway, a partial list (I set my linkedin to NYU/Columbia and then clicked to see if was MBA or MSRE or other, so very NYC biased, but it helped me search quickly)
