Lied about my SAT score
On my resume, I rounded up my math score from 650 to 795 (didn't want to be perfect 800 since they'd get suspicious). Will this be a problem?

LOL I think you will be fine.
Will be when you start your job and people realize you can't do math.
But seriously, if you're joining a large investment bank, my guess is that no one will ever know. I've heard of HR requesting transcripts, checking references, etc., but never checking into the SAT scores.
Still, wouldn't recommend that strategy, because I imagine they can fire you on the spot if that is ever discovered.
Yes, since SAT scores come in multiples of ten, this is probably a problem.
And I barely remember the SATs, but can you even get a 795? I thought it was in 10 point increments.
son, did you miss your shiatsu massage this morning? SAT scores don't end in digits other than 0, should've gone for 790 like PJC.
your pal,
dr. chiang
looks like you should've gone with the 800, haha
You "rounded up" from 650 to 795? You really aren't too good at math are you?
And yes, SAT scores come in units of 10, so you really should have gone with 790 or 800. Firms don't usually ask for substantiation on SAT scores, but if I saw 795, I'd definitely call you on your BS.
Firms don't usually check your SAT scores, but like everyone else said, SAT scores do not end in "5"
Is it OK that I rounded my 2000 to a 2500 on my resume?
You're screwed....you might as well not show up...dumbass.
lmao
gotta be a joke... In all seriousness... I've had MMs ask for a score report but never a BB

I'm pretty sure you're not rounding your SAT score, rather you're adding to it. If you were rounding your 650 SAT score, you would either round it to 700 or 1000. And SAT scores go up and down in increments of 10.

This is so clearly a joke... wow
I was also surprised how many people in this thread took it seriously.....
This made me laugh at how many people just took a cursory glance at the forum and were like...HEY!!! This guy rounded his SAT to an odd number, thats not possible?!!? What a dumbass! In fact, my friend, you are the dumbass for falling for such an obvious troll. YHBT
