LinkedIn formatting question
Imagine that you received an offer from a bank but decided to take another internship in a different field before joining full-time. Would you write that you received a full-time offer on LinkedIn so recruiters don't think that you got rejected and you don't miss potential opportunities?
Personally, I would mention it. Keep it simple with something like: "received Full-time offer to join the 202X analyst class"
It wouldn't sound pretentious?
I don't see it as that big of a deal, especially if you compare it to those kids putting "incoming Analyst" in their profile. Maybe in the US, it's a little bit different (I work in London) but I see plenty of summer analysts that mention it and the thing doesn't bother me at all
Ive seen some people have that on their profile here in the US. As for the incoming thing, that’s also very common here. I’d say it’s actually the norm now
Whatever you do, don't post about how humbled you are and thank everyone in HR and your major.
