LinkedIn networking tip
Hello everyone,
I have contacted everyone from my university who work in the places where I would like to work (250 people ish), what should I do now to contact even more people provided that I shouldn't spam messages to everyone who works in the same places.
Thanks a lot!
You should begin making ‘connection milestone’ posts, saying you are delighted to announce that you have amassed x followers on LinkedIn (important: always refer to them as followers and not connections), and that you are very pleased with your LinkedIn momentum to date, then include a recap of x profile views, y messages sent, z connection requests accepted etc.
I agree, did this when I was recruiting and was the sole reason I got an offer. An MD that I connected with reached out to me after I amassed 1000+ connections and gave me a Superday. I would definitely be doing this for 500+, 600, 700 etc.
