LMM PE vs. Boutique IB for Summer Analyst Internship

Interested in which one generally offers more opportunities for FT recruiting for both IB and PE. Let's assume the senior people on both ends have extensive MF PE and BB/EB IB experience respectively in leadership positions.

Ask them both if historically they offer FT offers.

I assume the PE shop does not. We don’t at our LMM firm, but everyone one of our interns has landed at another PE firm or IB FT. We have opened many doors for our interns as they look for FT

The PE fund does have analysts but I'm not sure if they offer the possibility of FT conversion to their summer analysts. Where have your interns gone on average?
