London Analyst Bonus<NYC Analyst Bonus?
Read a couple of threads recently in which I noticed several people mentioning that the pay in London for IB is lower than that of NYC
could anyone elaborate how much lower? I know the base salaries are set to be the same (not accounting for exchange rate fluctuations), but what about the bonus? Specifically, what % of base salary would a first year analyst receive as his/her bonus (top, mid, bottom bucket)?
thanks for any info
Should be easy for you to just figure out with the numbers.
NYC last year was 70K base, 10K sign on and 65K bonus (top). In London total comp was between 67 and 76.5K GBP.
NYC top = $145K London top = $125K
$20K difference.

You're comparing London mean (average) bonuses to NYC top bracket bonuses.
So London will not allow me to lead a bitchin' rockstar life?
