London Business School Chances
Hello,
I am currently in my cardiology training in the US. I have completed undergraduate with a bachelors of science in biology with a concentration in neuroscience. I have also completed a masters in public health. I have attained my MD and have now worked for 5+ years as an internal medicine resident physician and then as a cardiology fellow. I made a 720 on the GMAT. I have extensive travel experience, having travelled to 39 countries and have worked as an intern/volunteer in India and Tanzania. I was curious as to what my chances would be of getting into LBS for my MBA given my extremely atypical tract?
Thanks
I think your chances would be pretty good, although you'd have to have a pretty good story as to why you'd be giving up a rewarding and lucrative field (US cardiologists will make more than most top MBA grads) that you trained for 10 years to change career path.
