Long Term Comp. Acq vs Development
Do traditional acquisition folks tend to out earn development folks in the long run of a career or does it tend to be relatively similar in lifetime compensation? Talking about institutional firms here that are super active and well known names in development and traditional acquisitions.
For example BX, Brookfield, Starwood vs. Hines, Related, Tishman, Silverstein type firms
Have the chance to jump to a prominent developer and the beginning comp doesn’t exactly match what I’m experiencing now. I’ve always had an interest in development, but I tend to always follow where the money is
