I graduate in May 2022 and won't start my consulting job until September 2022 or January 2023. I want to travel during that time but I do not know what to do, as I do not know any foreign language and I've never been outside the US. I've got no debt but I probably don't want to spend too much, although I have a solid amount of money saved. Any suggestions? My parents have not left the US either so I really have no clue what I'm doing lol.

if you have friends, most likely there will be people you want to do some trip with, if I were you, I'd do the following
1. book a weekend in NYC with the boys between graduation and MDW, do all of the touristy shit (assuming you're not from NYC), see a yankee game, all of that
2. go to europe for 3 weeks, I'd recommend starting the furthest east you're curious about and then work your way back. e.g. fly into frankfurt, fly back from lisbon. off the cuff, for a first timer I recommend Paris, Rome, Florence, Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, that's about 3 days in each city, not enough to know it, but enough to pique your interest for future trips
3. chill at home for a week, see friends & family that you haven't seen in a while or will be moving to other cities with your remaining time in summer before you have to start making preparations for the real world
4. read a lot of books
Personally I would just travel as much as possible and come back to my work location 3 days before starting ... but I'm used to moving a lot. But if he/she has 3 months off definitely travel for at least 2 months !

I would go to wherever you’re most attracted to, but it could be the opportunity to go to exotic places (latam, asia) which are also cheaper. Go for 2-3 months and figure out travel plans as you go. Just have a few landmarks you want to see (e.g. Machu Picchu, Eiffel Tower, Angkor, Chichen itzá, etc) and improvise the rest of the time. To have a smoother experience maybe go to paris / London / rome as a first step and then LATAM or Asia.
A few example could be Peru, Mexico, Bolivia,Cuba, Brazil // Europe (Paris, London, Rome, Amsterdam, Prague, Madrid, Berlin, Barcelona, Athens), Northern Africa (Cairo, Marrakesh), Southeast Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Bali, Philippines), Japan
Stay in hostels so you can meet people (you may also make friends and travel with them once you’re there, this is how the cool stuff happens). Go to the ones with bars. Also the hostels staff is often better at giving tourism recs.
Solo travel will change your life. See the world, open your horizons.
Definitely do Europe, best place for an American to get their feet wet traveling IMO, theres a reason why most people study abroad somewhere in Europe, especially if you only speak English. Ideally try and piece together a 2-3 week itinerary, that's what we did post-grad for a trip and it was a great experience. I would start by first picking an entry and exit point to fly in and out of, preferably not the same city. From there fill in the rest of the itinerary, I would try to find 5 +/- cities total to visit for a few days each, ideally where you can train/bus between each. Where you want to go is completely up to you, as you can have a vastly different experience depending on where in Europe you end up going.
