Looking for Advice- grad school or career change?
I am 24 years old, currently working for an industrial contractor as a project controls analyst. I have a BS in Construction Engineering from a Tier 2 school in Mississippi, graduated with an average GPA but because of some industry contacts I was able to secure a high paying position with a top tier contractor.
I am looking to see if there are any companies that strictly analyze construction costs for large construction projects? I would assume there are consulting firms that help manage and formulate cost saving strategies for billion dollar projects? I have just been caught up actually executing the actual work to a point that I have forgotten to move forward with my passion, which is cost.
MBA?
I know this post might be hard to follow but if anyone can see through the mud, I am looking forward to hearing any advice you might have.
Thanks!
Hi my situation is similar to yours, from engineering degree to project controller. Also wondering about MBA program to maybe change focus to finance...have you decided what's your pursuit? Did you think about FT or PT MBA?
Thank you,
