Looking for books that actually teach you, what to look out for when analyzing financial statements
Hi guys,
are there any books or letters that actually teach you, what to look for when analyzing financial statements?
Like, which ratios are important to look at, what is considered a GOOD ratio in comparison to other companies, which things should make you suspicious etc.
In my perception, there is just content about technical stuff like what is NWC and so on, but I didn't come across anything valuable from an investor perspective.

Don't think this is a resource you'll find because it is incredibly variable across industries, both in absolute numbers as well as what ratios are useful or not. An outstanding ratio for healthcare may be a terrible ratio for tech.
If you are interested in a specific industry, you can usually google "Healthcare investment banking primer" or similar to get a good idea of what is used in that industry.
Out of curiosity, what’s your background? You ask a lot about specific technical things in your posts. Not a criticism or anything, as its always good to be learning. Are you an undergraduate? Wanting to go into IB?
way to be a passive aggressive dick lmao
