Hello, everyone. I too am interested in the energy markets- it is a sector that I enjoy following. I am still an undergraduate (graduating in May 2011) studying Finance and Accounting, so I would love to explore an internship to learn more about the area. Please tell me how I can get in contact. I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello Monty,

I am an Undergraduate Finance Major graduating in May 2011, and I am also very interested in Energy trading, and more specific, a possible internship opportunity. I have a passion for energy trading and when I came across this I was very eager to learn more. If you are available to talk I would be more than happy to work something out.

Best,

James

I have always found energy attractive because it's something I can relate to easily. I learned some when I was young, as my uncle was a purchasing agent for one of the Hunt companies. It's also been the easiest to comprehend for me, as it's concrete in opposition to something like fixed income securities. The fact that it's such a crucial element of the economy has always held some attraction for me, and incorporating all the variables that affect it into a macro view has been something I've enjoyed. For the record, I had a SA role at a BB in power trading previously. Please PM me if you'd like any more info.
