while you might be correct, perhaps you should let more experienced people comment on his situation, from your post history it seems like you're a sophmore looking for an internship and should refrain from giving people older than you career advice
He's probably not wrong though. I haven't started my FT gig but I've never met an analyst with an MBA.
So. Now that I have been vindicated, I was talking to someone about this a couple of weeks ago who works in IB, and they said what I said. But point taken.

Associate. However JP has a specific role for vets. JP Morgan MVIP (Military Veteran Intern Program) it runs 12 weeks from March and aims to hire full-time into a role.
Just as a general note, Wall Street loves vets since they're used to working long hours and not bitching, so you've got that going for you. Good luck!
