LSE MSc International Political Economy
First I'll note that I'm sorry for the multiple posts on essentially the same topic over the months, but given the potential ramifications of making the wrong decision, I'm posting about this one more time (I promise!)
I am currently a BSc Economics student in a top Dutch university. Currently at my disposal, I have 2 paths I can pursue for next year:
- LSE MSc International Political Economy (offer received)
- RSM MSc Strategic Management (offer received)
I would love to work in organizational strategy (e.g. consulting, product development, etc.), though I am very much open to any interesting high-impact work in management/finance (e.g. IB). Does anybody have any insight on either program in this regard?

I think for finance, LSE will be tough since you’ll be competing with the finance kids, however for strategy/consulting/other LSE political economy will open any doors and is MUCH better than RSM.
Also note if you already have some kind of top finance internship, LSE could also be best for IB due to brand name
FYI LSE is probably the best university in Europe for all these social science subjects, except maybe for some Oxbridge programs but generally LSE is leading in Europe for social sciences and also very strong in Econ globally
Why would LSE political economy be that much better than RSM?
