Lynx Capital or Chimera Securities?

Looking to become a prop trader and was pretty much shunned by the best desks such as FNYS and Trillium and so on. Also sent resumes to every single prop desk listed on these sites and no one was interested. I am really driven and feel confident that I can be a successful trader. Had a 3.2 but not huge into school but love reading about trading and swing trading in my own small account. My father was a market maker so I understand its a grind. I am either going to take a position at LYNX Capital Partners or Chimera Securities. If anyone has heard of either and has some in sight into either of them that would be extremely helpful. Time is of the essence.

Chimera > Lynx. I've done some research into prop firms. Chimera SOMETIMES get associated with FYNS, Trillium etc. while Lynx never does. Chimera doesn't like a bad place honestly. I've seen quite a few posts about its legitimacy as a prop firm. Also, do you need to bring capital contribution? I've heard that at Lynx you do... not sure about Chimera.

Man you're really lucky you got into Chimera on the Q1 hiring cycle... they took a huge hit one day in Feb and apparently they are on a hiring freeze now... was scheduled to have an interview with them this month too :(

I know someone working there. Was on some stock that Goldman was fading and obviously Goldman won, but Chimera almost went BK that day or something.

and no they dont require a capital contribution
