MA Econ worth pursuing?
I am a current Finance and Econ double major at a semi-target business school with a 3.9+ GPA. I have the chance to go for a MA in Economics by adding a fifth year. It will be affordable/quick ($15,000-ish, 1 year) but is outside the university's business school (so nowhere near semi-target). I can use the extra summer for a more relevant internship to what I want.
Is this worth pursuing for someone interested in IB or even for starting on the buy side?
