Just got a summer offer in Macquarie's infrastructure private equity division with Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA). Anyone got any thoughts on this internship vs a "traditional" IB internship? What are pros/cons of MIRA and infra pe in general (especially in FT roles)? What are exit opps for infra pe or am I bound to infrastructure private equity for the rest of my career?
