What is up with people posting any and every article on the forum? Its not like you have anything to contribute. Its not some ridiculously controversial development, or a link posted by your own personal opinion or a different perspective.

I'm sincerely sorry. How could I have been so stupid??? I hope you can find it somewhere in your heart to forgive me. Really.

agreed. stuff like the Citigroup bathroom is unique, but this article is literally one of the top 3 stories on every finance site include WSJ, Dealbook, and Yahoo Finance. hell, i even saw it among the stupid celebrity gossip headlines when i logged into my Yahoo mail today.

i think its because some people read WSO more so than Dealbook/WSJ/etc.

And some articles don't make it to dealbook or wsj like the one concerning the bathroom condition at Citi.

I know i didn't see that one before.

So I don't mind it plus its an easy way jack up your bananas.

We're about to enter a Great Depression. Don't you want a president who's already dressed for it?

------------ I'm making it up as I go along.

I didn't read the link you posted, but I read another report on the incident that said he took a bunch of sleeping pills and then opened his wrists.

Obviously, you're not thinking straight when you're in that frame of mind, but why take sleeping pills and cut your wrists? It seems like one or the other would have got the job done. And he wasn't trying to make a statement of any kind because he didn't leave a suicide note and he arranged a trash can to catch all the blood so he wouldn't make a mess.

I'm not trying to be an insensitive ass (for once), I'm just curious. I do feel bad for the guy's family. I knew him as both an old-school financier and an avid yacht racer. (and by that I mean I was aware of him for many years, we'd never actually met or raced together.)

This is a perfectly good article to post. Its a great way to initiate discussion. Forgive my blue collar attitude, but not only do I think its darkly hilarious but also I enjoyed that he was French. :)
