Main Post Partners, a consumer-focused growth equity firm, is seeking an Analyst to join its investment team in early 2019.

Firm Overview
Main Post Partners is a San Francisco-based private equity firm with deep experience investing in growth companies across the consumer value chain. In November 2018, Main Post Partners closed its sophomore fund, with $700 million of capital commitments, bringing the firm's total assets under management to over $1 billion.

Investment Criteria
*Growth equity investments of $20-$100+ million
*Company revenue of $25-$250+ million and EBITDA of $5-$25+ million
*Ability to invest in both minority and majority ownership positions
*Consumer value chain (e.g., branded products, food & beverage, restaurants, fitness, retail, supply chain, etc.)

Role and Responsibilities
The Analyst will contribute to the investment team goals by driving research and analysis initiatives. This position has the opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of the investment process (i.e., sourcing, due diligence, deal execution, and portfolio management) as well as interface with senior leadership teams within the Main Post Partners portfolio. Primary responsibilities include:
*Quantitative and qualitative analysis
*Market research
*Financial modeling
*Preparation of investment committee materials
*Supporting portfolio company initiatives
*Engaging industry specialists Qualifications
*1-2 years management consulting, preferably within the consumer sector and with private equity firms
*Knowledge of finance, accounting and economic principles
*High proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)

Ability to create thoughtful, concise summary recommendations based on large amounts of information
