The most important thing is which manager you will learn more from? And which strategy aligns more with your personal investing style?
Then the discount really doesn't matter in the long-run.

You ain't adding context man. Say your point you thought like banking, AM has the same tiers like GS/MS/JPM > other BB. You also thought its about it exits and 2 year programs.
No does not work that way and no its not a discount just different places pay different at times. As mentioned the team and strategy is key and you may be with that team for a lot longer than 2 years.

Surprised to see GS AM underpaying, is it the same role ? I would go for the other BB if: - more room to learn, grow and more responsabilities - it is MS or JPM -> great name on CV for the future. But don't choose because of the 20k difference. Think about your future. Develop great skills, build a solid CV. On your next job you will easily catch up these 20k, don't worry about that

Are you comparing apples to apples for the role itself? Like are they both direct investing? FoF? Same asset class? Same function (product/portfolio mgmt versus research)?
