Market Study Firms
Curious to poll everybody here on their experiences with various market study firms. I figured it was easiest to group by brand recognition / prestige.
Who have you all worked with in the past and what's your experience been like?

Bain should be in premier, LEK is a rubber stamp factory, IGS is garbage. Have been really impressed by EY-P. Add OW.
what does the comment on LEK mean?
They will say whatever the sponsor paying them tells them to say.
Would add Wolf Den - very good for government services
I'm interested to hear more about Wolf Den-- what was your experience with them / what's their reputation like? They're small but I guess that doesn't matter that much with such a unique niche...

Agree adding Bain & Co to premier list and removing LEK
Moving BCG to highly recognized. Fine if you want a ballooned up VDD but that's about it. Agree on EY-P. Bain should be on top of the premier list, then McK
Maybe I'm a bit slow, what do you mean VDD?
sell-side / vendor
LEK is okay for the price point but they're kinda meh. You'd think a consulting firm would have better looking slides.
Bain is solid, albeit a bit variable from my experience (have been very impressed with one team but wasn't really floored by another).
