Yes, because too many American women in my age group (20s) are beginning to self-identify as socialist/communist/intersectional feminist/non-binary/mentally ill/fat pride radicals. If they want to be a badass working girl who don't need no man fine by me, by all means, hope you enjoy the reality of your eggs drying up and falling out by 35 while you date a soyboy and fail to match serious working men step-for-step on a career ladder. Meanwhile, I'd much rather find a dime 5-10 years my junior down the road with an amazing personality who can raise my kids bilingual and comes from a somewhere the women aren't actively anti-men and anti-masculinity. Personally, Latin women check all the boxes for me.

Yeah my girl is feminist because there is a serious problem of violence against women in Russia but she is not crazy about it.

There's nothing wrong with the core idea of feminism, that women should be respected, treated as equals, and be afforded the same opportunities as men. That just sounds like basic human decency to me. But this 3rd wave feminism push trying to remove the very boundary that differentiates men vs women is some next level brain-dead activism. Look no further than the decline of the nuclear family unit in the US, massive depression and self-reported mental illness spikes among women under 35 who have grown up during this movement, and the number of women realizing they're unfulfilled in their 30s/40s after pursuing only a career and are desperately seeking out fertility treatments. Our media is so disgustingly biased because of course it's mostly the career-oriented women who are going to have climbed the ranks in these organizations preaching girl-power and anti-housewife sentiments, and they would never look back on the culmination of choices they've made and say they regret it publicly because the cognitive dissonance is so powerful.

I legitimately find this to be one of the best things about foreigners. My mom comes from a deeply misogynist country. She knows what actual misogyny is and after coming to America, she has realized how bad it was and she is deeply critical of it back in her country of birth. However, also because she knows what actual misogyny is, she has never overly complained, acted like she's discriminated 24/7 just because she's a woman in the male-dominated industry, etc, here in America. To me, she is the example of an ideal feminist. That's what feminism should be, not the SJW 3rd wave feminism crap from a bunch of gender studies major white girls who work in HR from Greenwich.

Edit: For the record, I do think a bunch of you guys are incels on here. But there's a middle ground between incels and SJW 3rd wave feminists.

Controversial

Yeah dude, disliking SJWs makes me an incel. Keep simping and maybe they'll let you paint their tits during the next big protest/courthouse burning over a rapist or attempted murderer being shot by police.

None of these women have what it takes to be badass working girl.

Where the hell do some of you work where all of your female coworkers are haggard she-men who drink testicle smoothies. Most females in PE take good care of themselves, especially the single ones. Agree with A3 that this is some incel shit

When did anyone bring up specifically women in finance? I'm not talking about people I work with. I'm generalizing about Gen Z and millennial women as a group in the United States, and even within finance there's plenty of dumb leftists as this forum is a clear example. Take a hike.

White European and Southeast Asian/Pacific Islander. Funnily enough I have an ancestor who divorced his Euro wife to run off with a South American woman, so maybe he's where I get the Latin attraction from.

True, always thought he was better as an honorary fourth migo

i would definitely date them, but 9/10 times they are using you for a green card and intend to divorce you early on. Exception is if you both met at a very early age or if she has more wealth than you

I'm into foreign women, but I don't think the type of foreign women this thread is referring to.  I've dated an Australian software engineer, a Canadian Big Law attorney, another Canadian software engineer, etc, none of whom were on the hunt for a green card.

Ok I come from a background where I get to see this type of thing quite often so I’m giving you the two scenarios that may happen:

1) She wants a better lifestyle. Whether through green card / money she’ll eventually realize she can have that with a divorce. So I don’t give it much time

2) She things you are a highly sought after male in the US until she comes here and realizes you aren’t all that. Stuff got lost in translation and now the guy who was admired by everybody back home is average. Not saying this is bad or anything (I’m not sought after myself), but you won’t get away with that for long

What's your background?

I'd probably say the second, I'm pretty good looking for a STEM guy (not saying much but still) and unlike a lot of guys my age I'm not obsessed with hookups.

My dad married a foreign woman ... and here I am ... 😁

Foreign women? Sure, I'm into Canadian women, women from the United Kingdom, and women from Australia and New Zealand. They are all "foreign" or does that not count because these are all English-speaking countries?

If you mean "foreign" as in Eastern European women, Latin American women, or women from non-English speaking countries, my answer would be "yes" for fooling around but not for long-term relationships / marriage.

South Africans are dope too, along with women from English speaking hemisphere.

I dated a Russian in high school. She was fucking nuts and we cheated on each other a bunch but when she spoke in Russian to me I got all hot and bothered. Her dad was a bodybuilder and her mom was clinically bi-polar. wonder what she's doing now.

After exclusively going after foreign women (eastern European, Latinas, and one Indian chick) in my younger days, I'm going to marry my very 'domestic' girlfriend, who regularly jokes that she's not 'ethnic' enough for my taste

no ragrets.

I married a foreign woman who was not a native English speaker. Her biggest concern was our long term compatibility coming from different languages and cultures. I basically just said hey, the US has a 50% divorce rate and people are coming from the same language and culture, so I'm not sure that's the prime factor pushing people apart. We've been happily married for almost 10 years now.

In general, I am 100% for foreign women. No matter what you're looking for, there are nations that have it better. Plus, it's just in general much more fun to have a relationship with smb from a different culture.

However, you should be very very careful when you're marrying them and giving them a green card. "Russian personal trainer" screams to me that she just wants a green card (and maybe money), and she'll treat you like shit and ditch you a moment she doesn't need you. Believe me, I know Russian women very very well. There is a huge "fake marriage" market between Russians and Americans, probably the largest in the world, and for many Russian women it's the dream of their life to live in America (even though many just romanticize it or live in their dreams hoping their shitty life will completely change once there are in US, but in 90%+ it won't change for the better). Critically assess if she's with you really for you and not for your green card. Maybe even not offer her a green card to test her intentions properly. Russian women are very smart and deceiving. They are the best in the world in getting what they want by playing mind games and faking their intentions.

That's a dumb stereotype, Russians aren't even in the top 10 most common ethnicities to come to the US for green card marriages, and mine only is coming here because career aspects are better for me and she is pretty much fluent while I'm not

OP I know I'm repeating myself but I really hope you read this shit^. Just keep her as your girlfriend until she gets the green card herself. If she's the one, she'll stay with you.

Currently in a serious relationship with a Latina girl and could not be happier. Beautiful, viciously smart, hard-working, a spicy bit of racism, good family, and lawdy lawd, those curves! Will probably marry her in a few years and the thought of forming babby with this wonderful woman fills me with tremendous joy.

...and the Truth shall set you free

I know a lot of Latinas. Curves today = fat tomorrow, ESPECIALLY post marriage.

I'm not gonna lie, a lot of my friends who got married basically had their wives 'let go' and look completely different and out of shape. I'm not really down for that and I'm sure it is a sore spot in the marriage. I want to instill values of keeping in shape for life as much as I can.

Well I'm in a kinda reverse situation from that of OP though.

I'm foreign and she's native. Not getting married anytime soon, but we plan to have kids together first.

Not because I want to get the passport though, I just happen to like white women lol.

Way too many American women think far too highly of themselves and/or are spoiled rotten.  Foreign women or girls from non-privileged backgrounds are going to be much lower maintenance and much more onboard w/ the division of labor btwn men and women that has been the norm for 99.9% of human history and is what the overwhelming majority of normal men and women would actually prefer (which includes being more receptive to having kids and having kids earlier on).

It's one thing if a girl is a legitimate earner and bristles at dropping that to have kids and take care of the homefront, it's another thing when a girl who tends bar at the Cheesecake Factory is so spoiled and/or indoctrinated w/ retarded 3rd-wave feminism that she expects the housework/cooking/child-rearing to be evenly split btwn her and the guy who bought the house, pays the bills, and works 3x as many hours.

Amen brother, I grew up out of states and moved here for college. Never going near American women for anything long term. They feel too dominating for me. Where I come from women are treasured and valued for being a woman. A woman can do all things a man can't. Women are better and not equal in somethings and men are better and not equal to women in other aspects of life. Feel bad for my American bros, relationships here feel very transactional. Yall gotta deal with some tricky women.

My wife was born in another country poorer than the US.  Her first years here were about survival and feeling belonged and that’s stayed with her into adulthood.  I think the more safe/belonged you feel the more outspoken you become and in someways entitled.  I feel some level of entitlement is good and leads to higher socioeconomic outcomes via confidence and assertiveness.

Don't know if this thread is dead or not, but as a dude that grew up around J1s LOL. Bro don't marry her, Russian/Ukrainian girls that don't have US citizenship are always on the prowl to marry a rich man who'll get them citizenship. Bunch of us always joked saying all you need to attract them is wave your US passport in front of them and they'll come flocking to you.

Not sorry if people get offended, stop being naive and grow up.

My family are former immigrants from the soviet union, all are US citizens now. We live in an area with other former soviet immigrants. You have to understand that life is shit in the former soviet republics. SO SHIT in fact that men and women are willing to lie in order to come to the US and will lie to get citizenship. I've witnessed so many women paying men $20k-$25k for a sham marriage just to get citizenship and that's from those who have money in the former republics. To me it's very common to see a Russian/Ukrainian girl looking hot af to try to snag a rich man to get citizenship and have him pay everything for her. I recently dated a girl who was from middle of nowhere Ukraine living here, but she ended things with me most likely because she knew I wasn't rich and wasn't going to marry her to give her a citizenship. Harsh reality but it is what is.

It's also just a part of Russian/Soviet culture, everything is always done "under the table" and it's surprising when Americans just can't understand why they do it that way. Mostly because the US is no where near as corrupt as Russia and all the former republics are. So that's why if you see Russian girl and NO CITIZENSHIP that's a huge red flag. Russian women are masters of deception and lying and if they see you're gullible enough to marry them, they'll take full advantage of you.

Drumpfy

I'm marrying a Russian personal trainer before starting grad school, getting her a green card.  She is the rare type that is extremely sexy and doesn't let it get to her head.  Is anyone else into foreign women?

I am, American women.

SafariJoe, wins again!

Who cares lmao if she's a good fit then go for it and date the girl. OP you clearly are down to spend time with this girl given you're marrying her and I'm sure that while she's allegedly bangin, she's got qualities on the personality side which made you comfortable with her. Don't put so much thought into it. Be smart and know if you're being used for green card / monetary reasons, it's not that hard to sus out.

Btw she definitely knows she's hot and has definitely let it get to her head in some way - people don't just not realize that about themselves.
