Master in Finance, Hedge Funds and Private Equity

Recently I've become really interested in a program offered by the International University of Monaco--the Master in Finance, Hedge Funds and Private Equity.

Classes look legit, professors are practitioners, there are a lot of guest speeches by fund managers, and part of the curriculum is preapring your own hedge fund including investments, legal workings (lp/gp agreements etc), prospectus.. just seemed like a very unique project and school.

A few things made me feel sketched out though: the school is for profit, they do not require GMAT/GRE or any other standardized tests, and it's not top rated (althought FT has rated it above Imperial College and other noteworthy universities' MFin programs recently)

Thoughts?

Well, I guess the location should be interesting. However, have you tried finding people on LinkedIn who did the program to see what they do today?

Why not HEC, IE or ESADE if you're looking at continental schools?

HEC is definitely on my radar. Both it and IUM are really well priced at below €25k. IE is far more expensive and I'm not sure about esade.

Realize it's an investment in my future but as investment minded individuals I think it's safe to say overleveraging myself at 22 is definitely a concern.
