Master's degree - International student seeking to get into a program

Hi everyone!

I was wondering which would you consider the top Ms in Finance programs in the US only...I was looking at FIU's program...should I consider it? what other program should I take a look at? I'm an international student seeking to get into a program which would help me break into the job field of the US...Thank you very much!

It’s always a good thing to invest in a degree that is technical and in-demand. While a degree in finance IS a good choice, you could also consider degrees in healthcare, accounting, business, information technology, engineering etc (if you have the aptitude for it). I’m thinking about pursuing a degree in healthcare so I’ve been reading California College San Diego testimonials - you should check out their programs as well.

Tier 1: MIT and Princeton Tier 2: Duke, Vandy, WUSTL, CMC, and maybe 'Nova Tier 3: Regional players UIUC, Wake Forest, etc..

I wouldn't play outside of the Tier 1 or Tier 2 schools if you're looking to break into investment banking. Nothing against other MSFs as they turn out high quality candidates in finance everywhere, but strictly speaking about getting to the 'Street I'd take T1 and T2 all day.
