MB & BCG?

Do MBAs generally select either McKinsey or Bain offers when they have a choice between all 3? Speaking to my MBA friends and from online research, everyone references MBB but generally prefer McKinsey or Bain. Is Boston Consulting Group considered the same way as KPMG for Big 4 firms?

People prefer Bain because of their interests in Private Equity or Bain's staffing model or culture fit. That doesn't mean Bain is a "better" firm that McK or BCG. Discussions like these have been played out multiple times.

Having worked in 2 out of 3 MBBs, your question is just painful to read.

When I think of MBA peers who got offers from all three, I recall McK and BCG outcomes, but no Bain.

In general McK wins the most cross-offers.

However, at my school I think BCG had an edge.

In contrast, I know another top business school where Bain is the best cultural fit and where it wins a lot of cross-offers.

OP's question is borderline retarded/troll.

EDITED: I overstated Bain winning triple cross-offers at my MBA business schools">M7 - I am sure it happens but the example I had in mind was wrong upon further recollection.

The truth is you're the weak. And I'm the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd.
