MBA for RE Development?
Do you need an MBA or Masters in RE to work for a CRE development firm and earn carried interest at the associate, VP etc level? (Think Hines, Trammel Crow, Brookfield).
If you do, does the prestige of the school matter?
Thanks!
Hi gurgle, the silence is deafening, sorry about that.... Any of the threads below helpful?
More suggestions...
Hope that helps.
1. No, you don't need either, but it will likely help.
2. A real estate MBA only really makes sense if you're at one of the top schools: Wharton, Columbia (and maybe NYU). The exception to this is if you have a specific geographic focus in which case schools like UNC, Haas, and UCLA could be good. Otherwise, you're better off with an MRED.
