MBA FT Owen (Vanderbilt University) vs Simon ( University of Rochester)

Hello,

I have my R1 results, I have been waitlisted at Darden and Fuqua (which means that in the unlikely case that I get admited from wl I wont get any scholarship) and I have been accepted in Owen and in Simon with similar scholarship (~75%).

I am an international student (from Europe, Engineer working in sales/business development, 720 GMAT) so I need to decide which offer to accept. My goal is IB (preferably not in NYC) I know that Owen has som IB OCR but I am not sure about Simon (probably not).

Which school will give me the better chances to land an IB gig?

In a similar fix. International student accepted into Duke Ms Quantitative Management (no scholarship) and Simon MBA (50%).. same path intended - IB front office.. not sure about Simon's reputation / placements into IB front office..

Congrats! I was accepted into Vandy MSF.

If your choice is narrowed down to U Roch and Vandy, I would be hard pressed to not accept Vandy. Both schools are reputable, but Vandy has some insane placement ranks in IB. If that's your ultimate goal, then I think Vandy is a no brainer
