What would be my odds at H/S/W or would it be prudent to focus on targeting Yale, Kellogg, Booth, and Columbia SOB?? Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated!
DealTeam3, sorry about the lack of response. Maybe one of these topics will help:

Hope that helps.
I appreciate the response, I'll check out the links
Those are some pretty stacked credentials. How'd you wind up with a CFA and a CPA? Never seen that before.
I decided that studying hard and that taking both the CFA and CPA exams would help build up my credentials coming from only a semi-target institution. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to further my chances as I still have 1 more year until I apply. Thanks!
Wow, haha. Well I'm no expert but I'm considering BSchool as well and most school websites list admissions statistics, so you can get a feel for how you stack up. There are a lot of helpful folks in the BSCH forum (top right). I don't know H/S/W (those schools are crazy competitive), but I'd say if you have your story down you'd be competitive in the MBA business schools">M7 for sure.
With H/S, I'd think your extracurricular would be weighed much more heavily as many many candidates will have very similar profiles as yours and too bad Asian males are over-represented minority everywhere you go these days.
As long as you have a stellar background besides school and jobs AND communicate that well on the application and during the interview, I doubt any school will ignore you. With any school you mentioned, you'll have to show some extra love by talking to many students and visiting the campuses, and convey that through tailored application packages.
The hardest part is getting in and there's not really a set formula to do it successfully. Unfortunately there's a lot of randomness and you need a ton of luck.
