MBA.com, What the heck.

Ok, so I’m doing research for the associated costs for MBA programs and I understand that US is land of the surcharge so I expected most of them. For instance, just submitting an application to offer the privilege of paying an obscene amount of money for a masters program is $100-$250. Sure, sure - that makes sense. Then there’s the cost of Tuition and Living that totals to $100-$170k over the two years. That’s what I’d expect. And of course, a part of the application includes GMAT. The registration for that? $250. And once you pay and write it, are you done? NOPE. Those savages charge you money to send your score to other schools after you pass your free five submissions because apparently they didn’t feel you paid enough on GMAT prep resources and application fees getting that far. I’m surprised anyone in the US can afford to live and they haven’t somehow monetized the air like in The Lorax.

Sounds like you're just venting, but see if you qualify for any financial aid or fee waivers. Many bschools offer fee waivers to current students (e.g. undergrads seeking to pursue an MBA) and other groups.

Would be insane if they monetized the air like in the Lorax. Maybe that's the plan and that's why there's so much global deforestation (conspiracy theorists, please take note).
