MBB Exit from Europe to the US

I am currently working for an MBB firm in a large European market (think Germany, France). Does the reputation of the firm varies based on office location when applying to jobs in the US? Or should I have more or less the same opportunities as someone from a US office?
So basically: Is McKinsey New York/Boston > McKinsey Munich/Berlin when applying in the States or is the reputation similar?

Taking a shot in the dark here since nobody has answered yet. Caveat this by saying I'm by no means an expert. In terms of caliber of the candidate, I would think McKinsey New York/Boston = McKinsey Munich/Berlin. However, if I'm hiring for a US role I would prefer the person already in the US because then I'm not worried about hiring this person then them wanting to go back to Europe, less team integration risk, etc. So in your position I wouldn't be worried about showing you're smart, they know that. Instead I would focus on showing employers you're committed to staying in the US if hired and will seamlessly integrate into their American corporate culture.

That and the visa situation. Hiring a US citizen/ green card holder from a US office is administratively easier than a non-citizen/ green card holder from abroad.

Office reputation, especially from Europe, should not be an issue.
