Recently I had an interview with McKinsey. After the first round, my interviewer bin my papers in front of me. Does anyone has this experience before? This really brings down the positive image I had with them so far.

They throw them away so that they can’t be shared. This happens with everyone’s papers.
Haha what did you think they would do - keep them to study your novel insights and make recommendations?
Maybe he’s upset that they didn’t recycle?
Did he say you got cut?
I heard interviewers retain the papers to evaluate on your note taking skills. The other interviewer did keep the papers with him/her after the interview. But this one just throw away immediately in front of me.
Some firms read notes—McKinsey doesn’t. If your note taking skills were good/horrible, they’d notice during the case.
