McKinsey New York vs. Bain Boston
I have offers to start as a BA at McKinsey New York and as an AC at Bain Boston. I'm leaning towards McKinsey at the moment but I'm not 100% sure. Would love to hear some perspectives either way.

Do you like being in Boston or New York more? That is what it comes down to.
Are you looking into b-school afterwards? If so, McKinsey hands down.
McKinsey New York would be my top choice if you gave me any consulting offer. It's the top spot in my view, but this is all a matter of opinion of course. I think the general consensus on here is that McKinsey>Bain/BCG.
McKinsey is seen as being #1, but it's not like you're comparing Accenture and McKinsey - both of your choices are top shops, so it really comes down to which city you like more, and which office you felt you'd fit in with better.
Cultures are very different - McKinsey (esp in NYC) is almost bank-ish... rather dressy, formal, etc. Bain tends to be more relaxed.
Bain Boston or BCG Boston or Mckinsey NY? (Originally Posted: 07/06/2016)
Looking at these three respective offices of MBB for full-time. What do you all think? Pros/cons of each office/firm?
Do you currently have offers from all three, or are you just looking at applying to these offices?
