Mechanical Engineering graduate looking to get into financial services/wealth management

My name is Micky Meckell Dete, I am a mechanical engineer graduate finishing with a 2:1. I have a passion to break into banking financial services particularly wealth management and investment management. It has been hard as I have a more technical background and not studying finance. I have been educating myself on finance-related courses such as accounting fundamentals, asset management regulations, banking essentials, banking regulations and credit risk fundamentals. I am open to any advice that will help me achieve my goal of breaking into the industry.
