mentioning undergrad gpa on resume when you are a masters student?

hey guys asking for a friend, he attended a decent public university in the US he majored in econ got a 3.0 CGPA since he had a stellar GRE, great extracurriculars, he was able to land a spot in a a much better university in the US which places a lot better in the finance industry overall now until now his gpa in his masters is 3.6 which is good. Now on his resume does he need to add his gpa from his undergrad degree or is it possible to just add the one from his masters degree to make him look better?
