Merrill Private Equity placements and Equity Private Placement group ?

I'm doing the goup selection process now and I'm just curious to get your take on these two groups. Does anyone know if they're pretty solid? What would I exactly be doing and are the exit opportunities pretty good? Thanks!

Goldman, Heights, SF Capital, and Old Lane were the investors.

so what does that mean? Any other info about the groups you can tell me?
